Dear valued customer,
We are reaching out to inform you that Reltio is introducing rate limiting on authentication and token-generation services.
As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen platform security and resilience, Reltio will apply rate limiting to authentication requests to the Reltio platform. Rate limiting is designed to help safeguard the authentication service from unusually high or anomalous request volumes that could affect service availability. Requests that generate unusually high authentication traffic from a single source may be throttled.
Why this change is being made:
This rate-limiting control is part of Reltio’s ongoing security-hardening program. It is intended to: Protect the authentication service from abusive or excessive request bursts. Reduce the risk of overload and service degradation. Improve the resilience and availability of authentication services for all customers. Prevent a single source from consuming disproportionate authentication capacity.
Next Steps: No action is expected for customers following standard authentication practices. Reltio will monitor authentication performance and customer impact closely during and after enablement. If you anticipate unusually high authentication traffic or have questions about your integration pattern, please contact Reltio Customer Engineering.
